I was 7 years old when my parents and grandparents took me to Magic Kingdom for the very first time. I’ll never forget walking down Main Street, U.S.A. and seeing Cinderella Castle in the distance. I’ll never forget my first Walt Disney World ride: It’s a Small World and the music playing in the background. I knew that my most favorite place was Walt Disney World at that very moment. After that first visit, I returned numerous times with my family. We stayed at a variety of resorts: value, moderate, and deluxe. I took my first trip, without my immediate family, but with my cousin in 2014. We stayed at Pop Century Resort and visited all four of the parks while they were decorated for the holiday season!
Fast-forward two years: my husband and I took a 13-day honeymoon to Walt Disney World. We were immersed in the Disney magic from the moment we stepped foot on the Magical Express Bus. We ate at so many different restaurants including character buffets, signature restaurants, and dinner shows. We even got to see Walt Disney World transform into Halloween and fall overnight, and we went to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. My husband and I had the time of our lives, but our magical Disney adventure hasn’t ended there. We took our, then, 9-month-old son to Walt Disney World in July 2018. We stayed in a Cars suite at the Art of Animation Resort. It was simply incredible. My son’s favorite character dining experience was eating with the Disney princesses at Akershus in the Norway pavilion at Epcot. Belle was especially smitten by my son. She kept coming back to visit him.
