I have been planning Disney vacations now for nearly 10 years as a hobby. I am excited to do it as a business as well. My wife, Malinda, is a teacher. Together we have watched our children, Nathan (10 years old), Emily (9), and Kaitlyn (6), grow up with Disney over the years. Every trip is a unique experience and it has been extremely enjoyable watching their smiles when meeting different characters or trying new rides and experiences each time we go.
A few of our favorite trips have been to see Cars Land in Disney California Adventure, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, and seeing the Christmas decorations during Thanksgiving week. Of course, the girls love Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and my son really enjoyed the Jedi Training Academy. We’ve stayed both onsite and offsite. Staying on site is the best! Our favorite resorts are Animal Kingdom Lodge because of the uniqueness of being able to sit out on our balcony and watch animals and the Beach Club because of fun pool days.
There have been so many awesome vacations and memories, but the recent Alaskan Cruise on the Disney Wonder may have be one of our favorite vacations of all time. Unbelievable sites, from glaciers to waterfalls, and eagles to whales. The food, shows, entertainment, and service were all excellent!
I have planned numerous trips ranging from our individual family to multi-generational family trips with as many as 16 people from 4 different families. For me, the planning phase is almost as much fun as the trip itself because it is like putting together a big puzzle and this can be quite challenging to get it just right.
