Hello! My name is Amber Hicks and I live with my husband, Austin, in Northeast Georgia–just an hour south of the mountains and an hour north of Atlanta. I am a 4th grade teacher at Martin Technology Academy of Math and Science, where I teach 2 blocks of STEM and 1 block of Social Studies.

I have a passion for all things Disney. I had never visited Disney, until my husband and I got married in November 2014. We planned our honeymoon for Walt Disney World (Disneymoon), and I was hooked! (My husband has been going to Disney since he was a baby, so he started out as my “tour guide.”) We have been to Walt Disney World 7 times since our honeymoon, and we are now excited Annual Passholders. There is absolutely nothing like driving through the Walt Disney World gates and entering into the Disney atmosphere. The sights, the smells, the sounds, everything about Disney truly makes it feel like my second home. When I’m not at Disney, my husband and I spend a good majority of our time watching Disney videos and Disney vloggers.
