Hi. My name is Steve Young. I am thrilled to be part of the Mickey World Travel team, as I love to share my insights, experiences and expertise to help others plan their perfect Disney vacation.
My first Disney Parks experience was when I visited Walt Disney World with my family in 1976. I did not return to Walt Disney World until 1994, and have been on over 3 dozen Disney vacations since then, including Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line.
In 2002, I became a manager at The Disney Store, where I helped make dreams come true for hundreds of kids each year for 10 1/2 years. My favorite part about being a cast member was helping families plan their first or next Disney vacation, and hearing about their vacations when they returned. When my local Disney Store closed in 2012, what I missed most was that interaction with fellow Disney fans. Through Mickey World Travel, I again get the chance to help you and your family with every step towards a truly magical Disney vacation.
I look forward to helping you with all your planning needs, including:
- Which resort to stay at – I have stayed at more than half of Walt Disney World’s resorts, including Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House and Kidani Village, Disney’s Beach Club Villas, Disney’s BoardWalk Villas, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort -Riverside, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, as well as Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa (my personal favorite) at Disneyland.
- Where to eat and when – Being a foodie, I have eaten at nearly every Disney Park and Downtown Disney eatery, as well as over a dozen resort restaurants, from quick-service dining to fine dining, including my favorite, California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
- When to travel – I have experienced the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival six times, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival four times, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party three times, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party twice, Mickey’s Halloween Party in Disneyland twice, as well as the many impromptu magical moments that happen on each Disney vacation.
- Which cruise ship to sail on, for how long and where – I have been on seven Disney cruises, including three-night, four-night and seven-night cruises, and have been on each of Disney’s four cruise ships. I have sailed to the Bahamas, the Eastern Caribbean and the Western Caribbean.
Using all of my experience as an avid Disney fan and former cast member, I truly look forward to planning your first or fortieth Disney vacation, and making it your most magical vacation ever. And remember, my services are completely free. Contact me today at 609-226-6185 or SteveY@MickeyWorldTravel.com.
